One piece of advice I would give to college students would be to always be open minded in the nonprofit sector because you never know what will be thrown your way.

Camp Counselor
June 2019 • Amery, WI
What I liked
This experience has always been so wonderful to me. I started out as a camper just afraid for what was happening to my family and now I was on an island with lots of other strangers. But soon those strangers became family because I got to know them and their family struggles with MS. I didn’t feel alone, it helped me mature, I felt like I belonged somewhere and I’ve been going back every summer since 2011
What I wish was different
Absolutely nothing.
Advice
You need to like kids and understand the disease of MS.
