Event Intern

Requirements: 

Must complete 15 hours per week to receive 3 credits

Must have car

Must have a at least two days a week block of 4+ hours

Must be able to work our annual Verona Walk, June 8th

Description:

We need an intern to support all activities and work on special events for the spring semester  

This will include research, community outreach, and all work surrounding special events

Requirement: Start a Walk Team! 

Review Media Lists & Update (Every Six Months)

Logistic Support for Events 

Community Outreach - Hang up posters to advertise our Walk/5K Run 

Help with walk questions

Help with packing for event, storage organization, etc, 

            Help sending out electronic tickets to media event 

SalesForce

            Database entry and clean-up 

Required Dates:

            June 7, 2024 – Walk Setup in Verona Park 

            June 8, 2024 – Walk/5k Run in Verona Park 

June 14, 2024 – Kids Ice Cancer in West Orange 

            August 5, 2024 – Baltusrol Golf Outing in Springfield  

Important Dates 

            June 3-6 – T-Shirt Pickup 

            June 10 – Post Event Wrap-up at the office
