Summer Education Internship

Experience a summer at camp in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire! Come and play while being a big brother or sister, a friend, and a role model all while making a difference in the lives of children. As a camp counselor at Camp Walt Whitman, you and your co-counselor will oversee a group of 8-12 campers throughout the summer. You will have the opportunity to build deep meaningful connections and make an impact on the lives of the future. Being a cabin counselor is one of the most dynamic and rewarding jobs at camp. By actively participating in all camp activities and listening to their campers’ concerns, cabin counselors strive to nurture each camper and foster a positive bunk dynamic. Whether encouraging campers to jump in the lake or scramble to the top of the climbing wall, counselors do everything in their power to make each of their campers’ summer the most memorable yet. More than any position in camp, our counselors form lasting and vital bonds with their campers. It is the counselor that makes the camper’s summer.

WHAT YOU WILL GAIN
