The Internship Project Management Support Intern will work in the NASA Glenn Research Center Office of STEM Engagement and serve as support for the execution of the internship project. The Intern will provide administrative and logistical support for the Internship Project including: providing help desk support to applicants, interns, fellows, and mentors; supporting facilitation of virtual intern events and tours; and supporting day-to-day administrative tasks. This position will provide opportunities to gain and improve leadership, project management, planning, coordination, and communication skills through work as part of the internship project team.
The intern will be assigned the following responsibilities:
1. Assist with virtual events for interns,
2. Assist with the preparation of project administrative documents,
3. Contribute to the development and execution of intern recruitment and outreach efforts,
4. Provide help desk support to applicants, interns, fellows, and mentors,
5. Support social media usage, and
6. Other duties as assigned.
This project supports GRC's Center Operations.
Eligibility requirements:
- U.S. Citizen
- Cumulative 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale)
- Full-time students (high school through graduate)
- Enrollment in a degree granting institution
- 16 years of age at the time of application (no exceptions)
