Data Analyst Clients Reporting and Insights

Job Overview:
The Data Analyst, who will report to the Sr. Manager, Client Reporting and Insights, will be responsible for delivering client-facing insights and reports for Medical Communication custom digital programs for our clients. In the short term, this role will be focused on transitioning existing report generation in-house with an eye towards enhanced automation. Over time, working with the larger Insights and Reporting team, there will be an opportunity to inform and evolve the offering based on changing client needs and enhanced technology. Data, Analytics and Reporting are high profile areas within Haymarket. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to contribute to a high growth area of the business.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Production of several types of formatted weekly / monthly reports for clients based on specifications provided by client
  • Work with Business Intelligence / Development teams as needed to facilitate addition of new data points to existing reports as requested by clients
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the Client Insights and Reporting team to maintain consistent SOPs across different business units
  • Identify points in workflow that would be best served through automation
  • Define requirements needed to automate reports or steps in the report generation workflow
  • Collect and interpret data from multiple sources, analyze results, and provide ongoing insights
  • Define and develop reporting insights considering client KPI’s
  • Use dashboards within data visualization tools to provide actionable data for marketing and sales teams
 
Skills and Requirements:
  • BS/MS degree in related field
  • 2 years of relevant experience in a data role: business analytics or product analytics (software)
  • Advanced Google Sheets / Excel skills: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SumIf, CountIfs, etc; Power Query
  • Experience in creating and maintaining reports and dashboards (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc)
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with Google Big Query, Google Analytics
  • End-to-end experience with data, including querying, formatting, aggregation, and analysis
  • Experience in combining data of various formats into a single format
  • Strong reporting and QA skills with the ability to collect and organize data with attention to detail and accuracy, such as the ability to identify extreme outliers and understand their cause
  • Yearn to ask questions to gain a better understanding of a concept or the data
  • Ability to think creatively about challenging problems
  • Must be a strong collaborator and communicator
