CHSS Digital Media CoLab Operations and Management Internship

The position is a non-paid, credit-based co-op internship, with a time commitment of 15 (3 credits) OR 20 (4 credits) per week.

The CHSS Digital Media CoLab (DMcL) is looking for a creative and talented intern to provide analysis and advice on the operational and management structure, daily routine operations, and future operations of the DMcL

The main objective will be to identify potential areas for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness and design and implement operational and management solution to identified areas
 
The successful candidate will:
Design and implement coordination efforts across work teams, both virtual and on-site, and across projects, including workforce scheduling and quality assurance. Efforts will be both short term (daily) and long term (semester-to-semester)
Monitor project performance with the goal of maximizing efficiency and measurable client satisfaction, through satisfaction surveys, focus groups, etc.
Contribute to an ongoing 5-year growth and stability planning process
be detail-oriented, well organized, self-motivated, and an effective multitasker
work well in a deadline driven environment
be able to work individually as well as part of a team
provide exceptional customer service
 
At the conclusion of this experience the intern will be able to apply the experience gained towards professional and academic opportunities. The intern may be given opportunities to make decisions in execution of projects as well as the opportunity to self-start projects.
