POSITION OVERVIEW:
Provide customer friendly service to all students and staff. Must have Federal Work Study (FWS) funds and provide proof of eligibility.
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBLILITIES:
Answer Tutoring Center customer service questions in emails and Zoom sessions. Instruct students on Navigate appointment registration and connect student with best tutoring option for their needs.
 
Check in, record information and monitor students in study hall breakout rooms.
 
Direct students to assigned tutors, group tutoring and/or academic support study hall.
 
Maintain order in Study Hall by enforcing no cell phone usage, and confirm work completed during sessions including online sessions.
 
Help direct students with trouble finding tutoring to missing subject list.
 
When directed, assist with customer service response of forwarding to CAST staff members from CAST email account.
 
Assist in outreach of services to departments and students as requested.

●                  CAST’s hours are Monday-Thursdays 10am-8pm
o  Fridays 10am-4pm 
o  Saturdays 10am-3pm
o  Sundays 3pm-9pm
 
Hours Per Week: 5-10 hours
●                  Rate: minimum wage
●                  September 2023 – May 2024 *with option to extend
